Who are you?

My name is William Brust, a student of ancient myth and legend and a creator of worlds of fantasy and heroism, where the darkest of evils is met with the swiftest of justice, where every happy ending is earned through blood, sweat, and tears.

What’s the book about?

The book is about a female soldier’s quest for revenge against a selfish sorcerer, which leads to the release of an ancient evil that must be defeated.

Why should I read it?

This novel presents a broken world where hope is still possible. Where it shines is in the characterization, the realism that doesn’t give way to nihilism, and the twist on the Chosen One trope. The Tang of Fate is also the only novel I know of to feature both chocolate and buffalo.

How long is it?

Around 90,000 words, which would make it close to 300 pages or so when printed.

Where does it take place?

In the mystical world of Tiranon, a broken world where heroes strive to keep the darkness at bay. More specifically, the kingdom of Zargon, a land torn apart by civil war.

When will it be available?

Soon, I hope. Still in the editing stages.
